Sleep study

On your first visit to Asante Physician Partners Pulmonary Consultants and Sleep Specialists. They will talk with you about your sleep problems and symptoms. They may schedule an overnight sleep study. This involves spending the night at our comfortable sleep center while specially trained technologists monitor your sleep patterns.

You will be connected to sensors that record an electrical picture of your sleep, including how your heart, brain, breathing and leg movements function during sleep. Sleep studies are painless and will help your doctor understand the cause of your sleep trouble.

Depending on the nature of your sleep problem, the next step may include medical treatment or changes to your daily habits or sleep schedule.
