Get back to your life with rehabilitation tailored to your specific needs
Once a stroke or neurological injury is successfully treated, neurologists and therapists begin rehabilitation through exercises to improve balance, vision, and thinking skills. If needed, patients can be admitted directly to our Inpatient Rehabilitation Center, where patients recovering from stroke, traumatic injury, or severe illness receive intensive therapy for several hours every day. We also offer Outpatient Rehabilitation at three different locations in Medford, Central Point, and Grants Pass.
Inpatient rehabilitation
Inpatient rehabilitation is tailored to your specific needs
Inpatient therapy services for hospitalized patients needing additional care before returning home following an injury, illness, or surgery is available at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.
Patients admitted to our Inpatient Rehabilitation Center work with a team of experts to develop a highly personalized therapy schedule with specific goals tailored to help them recover motor coordination, speech, memory and coordination skills. Our experts include a physiatrist (a doctor specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation), rehabilitation nurses, physical and occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, a medical social worker and a dietitian.
Most patients stay an average of 11 days, but the length of stay depends on the specific diagnosis and patient needs. The therapy team tracks patient progress, meets regularly, and adjusts individual treatment plans as needed.
