Women’s imaging
Early detection of medical concerns through imaging is an important part of preventive health care for women. Women’s imaging at Asante was conceived of and designed specifically to meet the needs of women. Our skilled imaging specialists include radiologists and technologists with advanced training in women’s imaging. Our state-of-the-art services include stereotactic breast biopsies, ultrasound, bone-density exams, computer aided detection (CAD), and 3-D mammography.
Asante Imaging is accredited by the American College of Radiology and is MQSA-certified by the US Food and Drug Administration for compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act.

Comprehensive breast health
Although most women get a clean bill of health from their annual breast exam and mammogram, one in eight is diagnosed with breast cancer. For women who are diagnosed with breast cancer, we have a comprehensive program of medical expertise and emotional support and guidance through our social workers, oncology nurse navigators and breast health coordinators.
All of our breast cancer patients are connected to an oncology nurse navigator, who has the knowledge, resources and compassion to support you through treatment and the path to recovery. The oncology nurse navigator will answer your questions and explain medical procedures and treatment options. Having time to discuss and understand your options is a powerful tool in making the best decisions possible for your health. We also have social workers who provide counseling and practical assistance to help with emotional and physical stress and in identifying community resources for logistical support.

Gynecological expertise
Minimally invasive hysterectomy
We know that you don’t have time to put your life on hold for a hysterectomy, which is one of the many reasons why we invested in the da Vinci Si surgical platform. The da Vinci system is the most innovative technology available for hysterectomy, enabling surgeons to perform a minimally invasive procedure that offers women many benefits over traditional surgery. Eligible hysterectomies may now require incisions of only 1 to 2 centimeters in length, facilitating a faster, easier recovery and a quick return to normal daily activities.

Asante has formed a partnership with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) to provide our region with advanced care for cancers of the female reproductive organs.
