Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center is Oregon’s only DNV-designated Primary Stroke Center
Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center earned Primary Stroke Center certification from Det Norske Veritas (DNV), a hospital accreditation organization with some of the toughest standards in health care. The certification means that Asante Rogue Regional’s stroke response team follows the best practices to fast-track patients suspected of stroke so that doctors can begin brain-saving treatments immediately.
Stroke patients at Asante Rogue Regional receive skillful care from a team of emergency medicine physicians, neurologists, hospitalists, pharmacists, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, speech/language pathologists, and other clinicians specializing in neurology and emergency medicine. This highly trained team cares for the patient from the first critical minutes in the Emergency Department through weeks of rehabilitation in the hospital and several months of outpatient care.
