Notice of nondiscrimination
Asante complies with applicable federal and state civil rights laws and does not discriminate, exclude or treat people differently on the basis of age, race, color, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity/expression, marital status, medical condition, religion, sex, sexual orientation, veteran status, disability, socioeconomic background, or on any other basis prohibited by state or federal law. Asante also does not discriminate because a patient’s care is covered under Medicare, Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Finally, no one will be denied access to services due to an inability to pay.
This statement is in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Section 1557 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and regulations of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services issued pursuant to these statutes at Title 45 Code of Federal Regulations Parts 80, 84 and 91.

Asante provides:
