Dr Crum is a sensitive, professional caregiver in matters of my health. I’ve had several doctors since I became part of the Asante system, and Ted Crum is easily the best. I feel I am in good hands, and having just achieved my 80th birthday, that is no small thing. I hope your system does everything it can to make his life easier.

This was my 2nd time meeting with Dr Crum…he is very attentive and answers all of my questions in a thorough way. He is very respectful and doesn’t treat you like he is in a hurry to get you out of there. He also is very good about reviewing test results on my chart and adding comments so you are certain that he has read the results. All of the staff that I have encountered have been very nice, friendly and professional.

Dr. Crum is the most patient and compassionate doctor I have ever met. I never feel rushed and always have time to ask every question I want to ask. He is also the most competent doctor and willing to help me become the healthiest person I can be. He is extremely focused on keeping a pulse of my entire health condition, past and present. He is the sweetest on top of everything else!!!

Everyone I have ever come in contact with in Dr Crum’s office has been excellent in every way. Dr. Crum has impressed me with his knowledge and insights concerning every aspect of my health. He is clear, never condescending or dismissive of my questions or concerns….absolutely support and listens and understands my concerns. I come with a list of questions, which I ultimately never need because he consistently addresses everything I need to know. I’ve never felt he was rushing to get to the next person, and always clearly references what has been occurring with my health. I recently had the most thorough labs I’ve ever had done ordered by Dr. Crum. With all the recent criticism towards Asante in public media, I wish people could have the experiences I’ve been having with physicians from Asante and the hospital and labs overall.

He was very thorough and really did everything possible to make me feel better. Dr. [ ], my dermatologist, is also excellent. He is very competent and sensitive to my needs.

Mary, who is usually the person who initially meets with us when we go into the doctors office, takes blood pressure, goes over our meds, and so forth, is always pleasant, courteous, and patient. Even when it’s clear the she is not having a great day herself she does not let that affect her interactions with us. (I usually accompany my wife when she goes in.) So I think she deserves a prize, or at least praise.

Dr. Crumb. He initiated a re-evaluation of a long standing medical problem that other doctors have accepted. I don't yet know that this will result in anything positive for me, but he is trying while others did nothing.

Dr. Crum's office has been very helpful in dealing with my health insurer's issues and roadblocks regarding their coverage of prescribed medications.

The back office staff are shining stars! Dr Crum is an outstanding provider. He is always prepared for my visit and we discuss everything that is important in my current state of health. We also look over lab results and make decisions that are appropriate to my care. He suggested an annual physical and a pneumonia vaccine, both of which were accomplished in this visit. I have been seeing Dr Crum for several years, and I can say that he is the best provider I have known.

I always feel like the staff listens and relays concerns to the doctor. I recently had Covid and I spoke with Mary who then set up a video appointment with Dr. Crum the next day. He was thoughtful, kind and professional, as always. I had another issue in the last couple of months, where Dr, Crum could not fit me in, but the office got me an appointment with Charles Dungan that same day. I appreciated that so much. He was efficient and thorough and took care of my problem. All in all, I am very happy with my health care.

I am not clear if physical therapy falls into the “specialist” category. All of my replies about “specialist” refer to my physical therapist, who is wonderful. I have not seen any of the “specialist” categories that you reference in your survey.

Triage and HMO doctors have their place. If there is a disaster moving from one patient to another as fast as possible is required. I am old and broken down enough now that spending more than five minutes with a doctor that is trying to help me is useful. To me. Or for me. In this measure Crum is a good doctor.

DR Crum always dicusses a plan for my need in advance. This is very helpful. He asks for my feedback about my care and listens when I have had difficult interactions with other departments and specialists in the area. I am always happy to see him. His medical Assist. AVA was great and well trained and put me at ease.
