About this provider

Dr. Alsbury is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to every patient. She received her medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri. She served her residency in family medicine with Heritage Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in Beaver, Pennsylvania, with a targeted area of concentration in obstetrics and gynecology. She also completed a family medicine obstetric fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.

Dr Alsbury is an exceptional provider. She witnessed maybe my lowest, most distressing time of my life and not only provided space and concern but genuine compassion. She is as amazing as it gets creating immense safety for you and the baby you may be carrying. I cannot recommend her enough- give her the biggest raise ever!

Team Alsbury: Dr. Roxanne and PA Stephanie. Wonderful team. Always welcoming and both know who I am and my history. There has never been a negative experience, with the exception of my own doing, and both were understanding and totally non judgmental. In these circumstances, I was able to be forgiven and taken care of without any problems at all. I really appreciate that in both of these ladies. It's always about the patient and not their discomfort. So rare today.

Both my doctor and P.A. know and remember me, which is so rare. I can't help but feel safer when my physician really knows who I am! Dr. Alsbury was quick to seek a physician to physician consult for a more complex issue with my child. I was really pleased that she took that approach rather than making an educated guess. She also received and relayed the info from them very quickly.

Dr. Alsbury scheduled lab work immediately after my session and the blood draw went very smoothly. The lab results showed up immediately on My Chart

Kay (I believe that was her name) Dr. Alsbury's medical assistant was amazing at 1. Calling me back quickly, and 2. Making me feel at ease. my son had a high fever over the weekend, and she was able to give me suggestions that worked and calmed me. I appreciate the care that I've received from this practice thus far, and I am grateful that I found this care team for my son.

Dr. Alsbury is the most thorough, thoughtful doctor I have ever had. She takes the time to talk to me, listen to my concerns and follow up with me after care. I've had an unusually ill quarter with shingles, Covid, flea bites from contact with a neighbor's dog and leg and back pain. It's been a big change for me from not usually needing much care from a doctor. I am so lucky she is my doctor.

As an elderly patient, I was surprised to be asked if I had any health goals. It's a question that in the past I've thought of as something a younger person would be asked. He/she might answer that they wanted to lose weight or perhaps train for a marathon. To be asked that at age 86 made me feel both important and also responsible for maintaining good health. Now when I think about health goals although they will change as I age, they can be a way to imagine the best life possible at any stage. Setting goals is an appropriate way to realistically think through what matters most.

Dr. Alsbury and her PA, are both excellent in concern, the issue at hand and always extend answers to any questions I have. They are both so attentive and I really value their professional opinions. But Roxanne Alsbury is the #1 for excellence and knowledge, and if she doesn't have the answer, she'll refer me to a specialist. And I trust her referrals.

Yes, I would say that, considering how incredibly busy the two receptionists are ALWAYS, while on the phones helping patients and other callers, they remain patient and respectful and helpful to those of us on line to check in or out or who have questions. I am very impressed with the level of patience and professionalism these individuals have at all times. Also, the fact that they are stuck in their chairs with people constantly needing and wanting things from them, presumably for their entire shifts, I just would say that I deeply appreciate them. They have superpowers!

Emily at the front desk, is usually very busy with telephone calls, is ALWAYS pleasant and very helpful and never acts rushed. She does a GREAT job handling all the calls and patients. I have highly recommended Roxanne Alsbury to many people looking for care. I think Dr. Alsbury is a wonderful primary care doctor. During visits she is always present and is truly interested in my health. Her approach is very practical, which I appreciate. My former primary care person was more of an alarmist and I didn't care for that style of care. I am so happy with Dr. Alsbury as my doctor.

Dr. Alsbury is more than just pleasant and caring asmy primary care doctor. She also looks out for information that I am not aware of about my general health. The way Dr. Alsbury communicated with my son and respected his autonomy was amazing. She was very kind and caring about asking him how he would most be comfortable showing her a rash and offered to let him change into a robe in private if he didn’t want to take his shirt off. He’s [AGE] and body conscious and she seemed to totally get that and to honor his personhood. She was absolutely wonderful.
