I loved being a patient of Melanie Westfall. She was personable, professional, and caring. Melanie always took the time to make sure that I understood exactly what was happening medically, and any upcoming tests that needed to happen. I will miss her as she moves into her new job.

Melanie Westfall has helped me so much with my diabetes and I am just heartbroken that she is leaving. I was so comfortable talking with her about my diabetes and I will miss her a lot. one of the best doctors I've had in a long time

Melanie is a hard ass with me because she wants me to be in better health and that's what I need because I got lazy. She reminded me of my old endocrinologist from San Diego. Since seeing Melanie and a new insulin pump with a hybrid closed loop CGM, I dropped my a1C by over one point. She's an AWESOME endocrinologist because she cares.

Melanie has never approached my care with any type of thoroughness. She looks at the lab work and just signs off. She hasn’t touched my neck, looked at any part of me at all. It’s a waste of money

Melanie Westfall diagnosed my situation effectively and quickly. She ordered many tests to assess the problem and discussed the results of each with me very thoroughly. She also prescribed the correct medicine for me and at the correct amount the first time. From start to finish, when I entered her office to the present time, I feel very satisfied to have had Melanie as my doctor.

Finally Rogers A1C was at a good level

Absolutely, Melanie Westfall, she has helped me tremendously over the last year and a half, because of her I have gotten my diabetes under control, I have lost a significant amount of weight, she has been so very helpful and very kind and respectful every time I see her, she is absolutely amazing

While I understand that Melanie Westfall will no longer be practicing endocrinology in the coming year of 2024, I would have appreciated advance notice that she was moving on to another area of medicine. I only found out very recently when I called her office to make an appointment and was informed that Asante is closing their Grants Pass endocrinology office. Instead of finding a replacement provider in Medford, which is thirty miles away, I am glad that my doctor is willing to provide this service.

Don’t remember her name but she was a student almost through with her schooling.

Melanie always asks me about my family and/or about personal life issues.

Melanie is very caring and compassionate toward her patients. She comes in to the room with the knowledge of your history and checks in with you about applicable issues that actually pertain to your life, not just “the usual” that might effect anyone. Because of this you feel like you’re picking up where you left off, not starting over each time educating your provider on your history and current issue to get them up to speed. It is so rare and refreshing to see! I appreciate how she explains complex ideas and physiology that occur in the body at a level you can easily understand. Melanie is an incredible provider and Asante can be proud of what she brings to the Asante brand.

Dr. Melanie Westfall is always willing to talk to me about ways to better my health but at the same time is willing to listen to why things are the way they are. She is always willing to help me figure out other ways to reach a better outcome. Dr. Westfall is one of the few Drs. that I go to that does not make me feel as if I am not doing good enough. She is always respectful when she is discussing my health and what needs to be the ultimate goal. But most of all she has stayed as my Dr. and so it is consistent care.
