About this provider

Margaret Bismarck received her master of science in nursing, family nurse practitioner degree from Oregon Health & Science University in 2001 and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff in 1987.

Margaret was born in Chicago and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. She came to Oregon when she got married in 1989 and moved to Medford in 2011 by way of prior practice in Brookings and Corvallis. She prides herself in maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach, guiding patients in achieving optimal health through the prevention of disease and the treatment of illness.

She enjoys hiking, cycling, gardening, music, and travel. Ms. Bismarck welcomes new patients of all ages.

Lisa and Nikki both answer my questions very promptly and thoroughly when I send messages via Mychart. They are always pleasant in their interactions. Marge is an excellent provider. She is attentive, takes my thoughts and opinions seriously, and I feel that she is very collaborative in working with me to meet my health goals. She is always supportive, and obviously takes time getting to know her patients. She is amazing, and our family feels so fortunate to have her!

Margaret Bismarck always makes me feel respected, is very competent, asks questions to better understand my situation and is very congenial. She has been my Provider for years. Her assistant, Lisa, also went above and beyond to effect a teleconference with another Provider when Margaret was off, staying with me through the whole duration to help make it happen when I had covid. It was so appreciated! They are great!

I appreciate that i was able to schedule a visit and be seen within the same day. The MA, Nikki and Marge Bismark gave excellent care to me. Marge listened, gave thorough recommendations for further treatment and answered any questions i had. I communicated with them multiple times over MyChart, and always received a prompt response to my questions or concerns. Nikki would ask how i was feeling, even if my question was in regards to something else. That really showed that she cared.

Dr. Bismark and her team was able to get me right in within a half an hour of me calling. She listened to me and ordered all of the tests that were necessary, even though the information that I gave her was not typical for the dx. Dr. Bismark was even willing to see me for my follow up. Her office also called me right away with results.

Dr. Bismarck is consistent with her professionalism, thorough with treatment plans; while providing an abundance, of medical treatment options. To end, Dr Bismarck is a highly educated physician who provides her patients magnanimous quality care with expertise. I couldn’t be more thankful she is my provider. Margaret Bismarck no matter how busy her day is takes the time to listen and pay attention to all of my concerns. She always go above and beyond of what is expected of her and even if it means calling me after office hours to talk to me about test results.
