James Loos, MD, earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, where he also served his residency in urology. In addition, Dr. Loos holds a master’s degree in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He is a board-certified urologist.

ABSOLUTELY!! Along with Dr. Loos being wonderful as my doctor, David R. (at the desk) and Crystal S. (Dr. Loos' assistant) are fantastic. I am always a bit nervous...or more than a bit... and this office team is amazing. In a perceived (by me) stressful situation they bring calm, caring and confidence to the appointment. I am truly impressed and greatful for the care by this team to make my office experience the best experience possible. Thanks to Dr. Loos, David and Crystal for there professionalism and caring.

Dr. Loos has been exceptional with Nick. There have been a few Urologists that have dealt with Nick and Dr. Loos has topped them by explaining procedures, the medicines, ect., that can be changed to improve the condition. He is also empathetic towards Nick's condition, which is a refreshing.
