Having spent my adult life as a [ ], I have relied on the US military health care system until relocating to this area. While the care received was always good, as a retiree I experienced far longer wait times than I felt warranted and also saw a constant turnover in primary care providers. I have not had any of these issues with the Asante system. Quality of care is good, wait times are virtually non-existent. I could not be happier with the level of care provided.

The P.C.P. Was the best, I’’ve ever had in my long life of 76 years! The nurse was very helpful in arranging for Specialist care. I have recommended them to others.

Dr. Song is excellent—very attentive, helpful, and has great "bedside manner" (as they used to say) as well as deep expertise. My visit fell on Dr. Song's first day at the Ashland office. I expected a little turmoil due to the new facility. Everything went very smoothly and I'm impressed.

Dr. Song is one of the best GPs I've had in all my 67 years. She is knowledgable, friendly, empathetic, very respectful, and I'm certainly glad she returned to practice. I emphatically trust her observations and recommendations. Though I've only been her patient for about a year, when I went in for a gastro ailment recently, she'd clearly reviewed my records and history beforehand. And I'll put in a good word for her assistant, Monica, who is always very helpful.

This fact does have an effect upon my answers because some might seem negative if she and her office were my primary contact with medical care. Dr. Beatrice Song has proved to be one of the best things that happened to me since I moved from East Bay, CA and Kaiser Permente health care system.From my initial visit almost a year ago to the present, she has manifested the best in health care for me, a woman 70 years of age, We have had very good conversations regarding past, present, and future issues around the topics of medications, supplements, therapy, and surgery. When I made inquiries or suggestions about meds, for example, she not only listened but responded in such a way that AETNA eventually allowed a name brand script for migraines. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Song to other women. And I like the convenience of the Talent, Asante facility vs. Medford.

Why some of my answers were not off the charts positive. I feel it is important to explain that this was my very first visit to B. Song and our first time discussing my goals and health concerns. Our interview was concerning where I thought I was, how I was feeling and my concerns about my health. I was very impressed with Dr. Song's knowledge, questions and especially her ability to hear what I wanted to communicate. I was even more impressed with the tests Dr. Song ordered. The results of these test were just what I needed for me to understand and evaluate my condition and begin to modify my diet and improve my health. I strongly believe Dr Song is a great addition to Asante. She listens, is kind and thoughtful and very well prepared for helping Asante patients.
