Zia Choudhury, MD, earned his medical doctorate and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. He then did his residency training in family medicine at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian-Shadyside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Both of the two male nurses I don't remember their names preparing me for a [ ], they were both really wonderful guys. However the cardiologist doctor [ ] and his office staff are not professional if it weren't for Dr Zia responding to a problem I was having with the [ ] I'm not sure where I would be right now I don't feel comfortable at all with your cardiologist doctors.

Zia Choudhury. I am not a religious person but he is the first person that has made me question my beliefs in that it truly seems like he is a person made to heal people. He is person centered but professionally holds boundaries and has high expectations for his patients, while at the same time never displaying or speaking about disappointment when they don't make great decisions. He is one of very few reasons I have decided to stay in Southern Oregon, feeling that my health care would only be extremely degraded without his continued care. I am grateful for him and for Asante in finding him and keeping him, and hope they realize the quality of the Doctor that they have.

I'm grateful to have Dr. Z who is an excellent doctor right from the start after my doctor of 20 years retired. I was worried that I wouldn't get the same personal care as Doctor Gleffe...but I've been blessed with Dr Zia and he is even a more pro active doctor with a knowledge of one of the most debilitating unusual physical limitations such as [ ] that effects so much more of my health. He has helped me thru so many [ ], makes sure I'm up to date on [ ] etc. His office is well run with efficiency in his staff, time management and return calls. There are other doctors that I have seen in my years of life so far. From specialists, and into research scientists. From all these experiences I have learned how to tell from a short visit if this particular one will be helpful for me, or not so much. Doctor [ ] was (is) one such doctor who knows enough to be able to explain things clearly, leaving me knowing more about my life-situation than when I came in his office. Dr. [ ] saw a [ ] and on seeing it said, "Wait just a minute, I know just the man to show this to." In a few moments he was back with Dr. [ ] at his side. After a few moments talking to, and being reviewed by Dr. [ ], he was able to say, "This will take more than just [ ]. I can do this, no problem." I am very impressed by Dr.[ ], and am looking forward to having [ ] done by him.

Dr. Zia reviewed my lab results and contacted me through the patient portal with analysis and comment prior to my appointment. He did this on a Sunday which I'm sure was a day off for him. He also assisted in getting established with a specialist who is very difficult to get an appointment with. His concern for his patients and the skill with which he serves them is much appreciated.

As always, Dr. Zia is a great doctor! Although this was a previously scheduled routine appointment, I was having some hip pain issues that occurred about 10 days before the appointment. This [ ] had caused me to visit Urgent Care and Dr. Zia was on top of the issue from the records of that recent visit. He appropriately suggested seeing a colleague for more specific follow-up and his office made the appt for me and took the initiative to proactively order some physical therapy. I'm always happy to refer anyone I'm talking with to Dr. Zia if they are looking for a wonderful primary care physician. He carefully listens and provides conscientious feedback, answers and possible solutions. Can't get any better than this.
