About this provider

I am currently only accepting new sports medicine patients.

My passion for sports medicine developed from learning how the body moves and works. I have grown as a musculoskeletal specialist through my fascination with physiology. Seeing how the body works allows us to make it better, and it has been through my work in other areas of medicine and movement that I have been able to bring additional skills to my practice. Having worked in personal training, athletic training, physical therapy and radiology, I have been able to bring these skills to my medical training and profession.

No matter a patient's athlete status, my goal is to always work with patients in meeting their performance goals. My training and skills in musculoskeletal medicine allow me to focus on a comprehensive and even approach to patient's concerns and their goals.

Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and pets, and pursues a wide variety of interests including sports, the outdoors, weight lifting, cooking, home brewing, painting, woodworking, international travel and free-solo hammocking.

I guess the best way to comment is that I look forward to my appointments with Dr. Hallows and his crew. All my questions are answered with the best advise and suggestions available. I feel I'm getting the best care possible. My last visit was for problems with my [ ]and I received [ ] to help minimize the problem. I was told not to expect [ ] but 10 days later, I'm doing so much better it's hard to believe. I did two months of occupational [ ] without much success. The [ ] were the next level of care and it is working well.

Yes I felt that Ian Hallows was outstanding in sending me to a specialist that was up to date on treatments for [ ]. And because of that I was able to try a compound that possibly would have cured my [ ], unfortunately I had [ ] and wasn't able to continue the compound. All of the staff in the office as far as I am concerned, have excelled and made me feel very important. Dr. Hallows knew everything about my most recent issues when I came in for my appointment which I don’t think any other doctor ever did that for me had to go back through the notes to find out what I was talking about so I would write Dr. Hallows and his staff a 20 instead of a 10

Dr. Hallows is an amazing physician. He took the extra time and care to precisely provide and injection into my arm that eliminated all pain and discomfort that I had been feeling. He does it in such a way that the pain never returns and no follow procedures are needed. It’s very sad that Asante has been replacing all of their MD’s with nurse practitioners. I pray DR. Hallows never leaves. If he does I will be forced to seek care some place else. I have had terrible experience with Asante repeatedly moving my care to different practitioners every time an MD leaves.

Dr Hallows filled in for Dr [ ] who was out of the office for the week, and did a great job of reviewing all of [Patient]'s problems after being in the hospital 12 days. He gave him plenty of time to ask questions and tell him what the findings were . He was very nice and friendly.

He could the time to listen to me and with that info was able to give me a shot which has taken care of my problem. He also set up another appt for 6 months in case my problem returned. What a great person an a real value to this medical community. I truly hope he will say in grants pass.

Doctor Hallows is great. He gave me my last 2 cortisone shots in my shoulders. Because both shoulders have torn rotator cuffs and it becomes difficult for me to do anything that involves using my arms. Even typing on my computer is painful. The shots don’t quite last the 3 months but I am thankful for the time that I do get and I am thankful for DR. Hallows.
