Dr. O’Neal is an amazing surgeon and person. Her staff is responsive, kind and timely. I have never felt as comfortable and secure in a doctors care, and this has been the most frightening personal medical experience of my life. Every person, from clerical staff to operating room specialists have been INCREDIBLE with knowledge, friendliness, comforting and kindness. In this entire frightening experience, I have never felt as medically and mentally taken care of and supported.

I could not have had a better surgeon. She listened to me and answered all my questions. She presented all the options and supported my decision. After surgery, she contacted me to see how I was recovering and if I had any questions. When the pathology results were completed as well as the genetic testing, she contacted me and interpreted all the results for me so I could easily understand. She takes the time to be sure her patients understand what is happening to their body. She is an amazing surgeon, and we are so fortunate she is here in Ashland!

Yes! Dr O 'Neal relaxed my initial anxiety (typical anxiety, when seeing an unknown new provider), and asked if I had any questions. I said, "Let's wait until the end of the appointment; you will probably answer most of them during your exam & questions of me." Which turned out to be true. At the end, she gave me time to review my written questions, and again made me feel free to ask any remaining questions. Her relaxed manner put me at ease. This was SO helpful after getting the the terrifying "You have [ ]" diagnosis at Medford Asante Imaging.
