Our online childbirth preparation classes will help expectant mothers prepare for their birth experience at the Family Birth Center at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.

Registration Details

The educational materials include two books, Understanding Childbirth and Understanding Breastfeeding. Each book contains an access code to a companion web app with helpful videos, animations, resources and tools like a contraction timer and birth plan checklist.

Picture of baby - Asante Rogue Regional offers both six-week series and a two-day weekend classBirth isn’t just the physical delivery of a baby; it is the birth of a new family. Being physically and emotionally prepared for labor and birth can ensure the best possible beginning for your new family. Our distance education curriculum includes books and recorded class to help prepare you for the birth of your baby. This 2-hour online class covers core child-birth topics and is taught by one of our Labor and Delivery Certified Registered Nurses. We recommend that you take the class when you are at least 5 months pregnant.
