Asante Immediate Care*

Patients needing medical care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, including respiratory ailments, have access to same-day walk-in care.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.

When should you use Immediate Care?

Immediate care is for people over 3 months old with non-life-threatening injuries or ailments, including:

  • Respiratory ailments including COVID-19 and influenza.
  • Sore throat.
  • Earache.
  • Cuts.
  • Sprains and strains.
  • Minor fractures.
  • Allergic reactions.
  • Rashes.
  • Urinary symptoms.

Services include stitches and fracture care, lab, imaging, STD evaluation, physical exams and more.

Patients with more severe illness or injury will be transferred to the Emergency Department and will not be billed for an Asante Immediate Care visit.

When should you not use Immediate Care?

Asante Immediate Care is not an emergency department and is not appropriate for patients with emergency medical conditions. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, please visit the Emergency Department or dial 911:

  • Chest pain.
  • Numbness in face, arm or leg.
  • Severe shortness of breath.
  • Coughing up or vomiting blood.
  • Sudden or unexplained loss of consciousness.
  • High fever with stiff neck, mental confusion or trouble breathing.
  • Wound that will not stop bleeding.
  • Head injury with loss of consciousness.
  • Babies 3 months or younger.

Costs

*Asante Immediate Care locations are outpatient departments of Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and Asante Three Rivers Medical Center.

Visit costs will be billed as a hospital service and subject to health insurance deductibles, so out-of-pocket costs may vary.
