Dr. Nugent and his staff have been very understanding about my concerns and willing to help when I am struggling with a setback in my postop recovery due to [diagnosis] related to the effects that my [diagnosis] creates.

Dr. Nugent exceeded my expectations! He had no issues with my [diagnosis] being on the same side as the [diagnosis]. The previous surgeon was reluctant to do [service] because, I couldn't have an [service] with my pacemaker and he was reluctant to do it because of the proximity of the [diagnosis] to the surgical site. Dr. Nugent did a [service] and decided I needed the [service].

Everyone I spoke to or met, from the receptionists, lab techs, and on up to Dr. Nugent, were friendly, professional, and helpful. I had several choices on where to go for surgery, and I was so glad I had decided on Dr. Nugent and Asante for my shoulder surgery.

I was referred to Dr. Nugent for the purpose of [service]. From day one, I was treated with professionalism and curtesy at all stations. I was sent by Dr. Nugent to get an MRI. That was done in less than a week. I had the MRI yesterday, the results was in MY CHART last evening, and, I was called this morning from the office notifying me that they had my MRI results and that I would require a [service], and, that I was being put towards to top of the wait list for the surgery, which is scheduled for [date]. I am amazed with the way I have and am being treated. Kudos to the entire office !!!!

I think doctor Nugent is a great man to have as your ortho doctor, I would hold on to him.

VERY impressed with the efficiency of your hospital. I was also impressed by Dr. Nugent, who will be performing my surgery on [date]. He obviously knows his stuff but it's his passion for what he does that I saw, right away, when I met him. His assistant Bella is also to be commended. She has consistently kept me informed on date and time of surgery. Before I was referred to you I had been referred to a sports clinic/surgery center in Redding. Twice they cancelled my appointment the day before and told me that I would have to wait up to 10 days for them to call me and re-schedule. Calling them was a waste of time, as they outsource their incoming calls to the Philippines. (!) The difference between you and them is Mike Knight and day.

My current recovery is not going as quickly or smoothly as previous repairs that I have had on either of my shoulders, but everyone involved in my treatment has been so wonderful and understanding,, and they have encouraged me to keep moving forward and not be discouraged even when it seems like things aren't improving the way I am expecting or used to. Dr. Nugent is an exceptional surgeon. I am very happy with the results of this second procedure. I would also like to mention registered nurse John in the recovery room. I had a reaction to the anesthesia which caused repeated [diagnosis] and John stayed with me the entire four hours I needed for recovery. He also found a medication that neutralized the anesthesia and started me on the road back to recovery.

Dr. Nugent exudes confidence in his ability to fix my problem. He was also caring and compassionate. I have complete confidence in Dr. Nugent. I came to an a friend's appointment and went in with her. I extremely impressed with the things that Dr. Nugent saw on her MRI, that her previous orthopedic surgeon missed. We both saw the previous surgeon, who seemed reticent to do surgery on us. The previous surgeon was afraid to do my surgery, because of they proximity of my pacemaker. During my friends appointment I asked if 'he was afraid of pacemakers?'� He answer helped me to choose. I went home that day, called and got an appointment.

Dr Nugent was very knowledgeable, listened to everything we had to say, was very personable and took time to answer all our questions. I would highly recommend him.

Grants Pass Asante runs like a well-oiled machine. Everyone is professional and cuteous.

Dr. Nugent and his entire staff were remarkable. He was knowledgeable, proactive, and asked a number of questions and ran tests for my left shoulder that no one had done previously, despite two former surgeries for the same problem. He listened well, offered the perfect solution ideally suited to my active lifestyle, and listened closely to me as a whole person. He scheduled a diagnostic MRI immediately, followed up, and my surgery is set to schedule mere weeks after this visit. I have suffered with this the broken, separated, and progressively degenerated shoulder for over 25 years and he's fixing it for good. I couldn't be more impressed with him, his obvious surgical skill and competence, and his staff. Thank you Dr. Nugent!
