The doctor assured me that he would establish a plan and make as much progress towards that goal as he could. That assurance is important to a person my age. It is an assurance that is not the norm. I trust him. Trust is what he engenders. As besides, he just a nice guy who takes time, listens, and is unpretentious. I'd love to throw my [ ] before my 103rd birthday!

A blood test was ordered but I haven’t given blood yet so I have not been notified of results. I have seen Dr. Hinchcliff twice and he has been more helpful than anyone else. Most doctors don’t want to help me with my somewhat rare condition called lichen planus. (Auto- Immune)

Went in for a mass in my neck, and the doctor discovered what he thought was basal cell carcinoma. Did a biopsy and it came back positive. I'm so thankful, he caught this and looked beyond my initial complaint.

I tried to get an appointment with ENT and was told that they didn’t have any openings for months. I tried to explain that my C Pap was not working correctly my O2 stats were dropping at night with my machine to 70 because no air in my left nostril and my PCP was concerned. I tried to get an appointment in Medford but got a big run around and they would never contact me back after several attempts. When Dr Hitchcliff came on staff at Asante the scheduler called me to let me know they had a new Dr and could I come in in the next weeks. I said absolutely. With my very first visit with Dr Hitchcliff I was comfortable at his pleasant demeanor and sincere concern for my problem. He listened to my concerns and showed actual interest to everything I was telling him. He examined me and told me how he would help me. We discussed what needed to be done for me and set up my procedure. I was so relieved someone cared. He is just the best. I’ve told many friends to request him if they needed a ENT

I saw Dr. Hinchcliff on an emergency basis only. He located and removed the melanoma on my face during the first surgery. His confidence calmed my fears of losing an eye or ear when he assured me that melanoma was pretty common and was actually slow in spreading.

Yes. Dr. Hinchcliff and KaAnne [ ], anesthesiologist from my first surgery. Both were pleasant and treated me with courtesy. Dr. Hinchcliff was outstanding in getting the melanoma on my face the first time. He didn't want to take the credit but told me Dr.Woo was the person who diagnosed it. KaAnne talked to me the whole hour of the surgery, keeping me calm. She called me, at my advanced age, "pretty." That made me happy. She also introduced me to the young men who were wheeling in and monitored the huge monitors. They were very courteous, too. They even told me goodbye when they left. How could a person not be reassured within this atmosphere.

You must be training these individuals regularly because I have never felt so well taken care of. If I may, I'll spell it out in a score senario of 1 to 10, one being poor care and 10 being the best possible care; Kindness= 10 professionalism= 10 attentiveness= 10

Every single person that I dealt with at Asante was amazing. Dr Hinchcliff and his staff were incredible—I had spent nearly a year trying to have my medical issue resolved—from establishing care at an outside provider, to specialist referral, to being referred to Asante ENT by the above specialist. From start to Asante referral took 10 months (all outside providers.) Once I got to Asante, I was seen for new patient, scheduled for surgery, and cleared after surgery in a 2 week time frame. Absolutely amazing service and work.

I wish I could remember all their names. Everyone that assisted us was outstanding. I was impressed with their team-coordination. I am disappointed that a significant aspect of my health history is wrong. It may cause me to be mistreated in the future and needs to be corrected.

Doctor Hinchcliff was awesome, and was able to correct the issue I saw him for. I am able to breath again correctly through my nose, and it no longer feels obstructed. As an added bonus, my wife tells me I barely snore and often she wonders at night if I'm breathing (which I am). Thank you!

The ENT staff listed to everything I had to say and seemed they actually cared(more then just a paycheck to them). I had forgotten the feeling of being able to breathe from the damaged side. The relief the first time the split removed was amazing. I'm very grateful for Dr. Hinchcliff and the rest of the staff, including his nurse. He was very respectful and professional the entire experience. Thank you to all the ENT team that helped. I haven't stopped smiling since.
