Most everyone was extremely helpful and informative

All were great and gave me the best care they could, but Steve in ICU was outstanding. When I was moved out of the ICU there was a nurse named Tim who was outstanding. I would like to thank everyone who took care of me. I am forever grateful.

My nurses on the cardiac thoracic floor were great. Especially the first nurse I had when I got admitted. She had a student one day. She’s blonde middle aged sometimes the charge on the floor. I can’t remember her name but she listened and was compassionate.

Daniel was very kind and took his time listening to our questions and concerns as well as explaining things is great detail! We appreciated him!

Staff members were exceptionally helpful

Dr. [ ] and Dr. [ ] are excellent surgeons. Dr. [ ] found the blockage in my coronary arteries and I am very grateful for that. Dr. [ ] bypassed all my blocked arteries even one I specifically requested because it was not going to be included in the bypass list. I am very grateful for that. Nurse Sharon was extremely helpful when I was having a problem with my heart rate. She immediately ordered my medication and I had it within an hour. I am very grateful to her. PA Neville was on call at night when I was having problems with my heart rate and he discovered it was due to a missing medication. I was so glad he figured it out. He also did my Post-Op and I was very pleased with this doctor because he is very easy going. had very good rapport with him and answered all my questions.

Many providers helped to take care of me while I was in the hospital after my open heart surgery. Daniel Neville was the only provider I have seen so far outside of the hospital setting and he was great. Very knowledgeable, and caring!

Excellent support from the staff, worked effectively to help us manage living in Brookings. We also felt meeting the anesthesiologist prior to surgery was very effective and informative. Another extremely effective procedure was to have one nurse for us on our surgery day. We were so fortunate to get Jennica, smart, caring, professional, so committed. We were also impressed with all of the nurses, and the traveling nurses did such a great job too, excellent program. Stacy, Amina, Will, Dani, Emma were all so committed to our care, excellent, all. And Bri, helping us after our release, resolving any issues we had. Staying connected with us throughout our recovery, we are so thankful for her . We are in awe of the exceptional service we have received from everyone at Asante, well done.

The care that I received from the entire cardiovascular team was fantastic. While I'd prefer not to go through the experience again, I have absolute respect and appreciation for what I received from this team.

That's a tough question as everyone from the receptionists, to the nurses, to the doctors, everyone was outstanding!

Every visit and phone call in the past 6 months was dealt with professionally, courteously and usually timely.I especially appreciate the fact that CVI has a group of Dr.s that detrmine the appropriate surgery pathway, I was grateful the ascending aneurysm was found and corrected at the same time as the aortic valve was replaced. So, THANK YOU Dr. Carmaci for saving my life and possibly a second surgery. Appreciate that through the complications of covi superior care is still provided! Truly appreciate all of the staff at CVI as well as at Asante Cardiac Care.

Daniel Neville was always very easy to talk to about numerous specific questions and concerns that I had. Always very knowledgeable and up to date on my progress and goals. The surgery scheduler, Jen [NAME], has been an exceptional person to work with, especially since we live about 3 hours away from your facility.The other PA Christopher, was also very thorough and pleasant to have .And of course, I would be remiss in not acknowledging Dr [NAME] and Dr. [NAME] for all the excellent care, compassion and expertise in the procedures they administered to me. I fully beleive I would not be on such a fast track recovery without them!

Dan and got along very well together. I worked with his father in my career. We have friends in common.
