Based on the goals and objectives set forth by ASHP, Asante’s PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program builds on the doctor of pharmacy education and outcomes to develop a skilled pharmacist practitioner who is prepared to provide medication therapy management as a hospital clinical pharmacist accountable for the care of patients with complex conditions in a community hospital or regional referral center.
