Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center Named a 100 Top Hospital in the Nation for 2020
The only hospital in Oregon and Washington to achieve this prestigious designation
For the seventh time, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center has been named a 100 Top Hospital in the nation by IBM Watson Health out of 3,134 short-term, acute care, non-federal hospitals. The 100 Top award recognizes excellence in clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, patient experience and financial health.
“Over the past four months, I have watched our teams across the Asante health system come together like never before,” said Mick Zdeblick, senior vice president and CEO at Asante Rogue Regional. “The level of collaboration and innovation systemwide reflects our commitment to the community and our patients. This award recognizes that dedication and is shared by every Asante employee.”
IBM Watson Health 100 Top Hospitals had better results on key clinical and operational performance indicators, including better patient survival rates, fewer patient complications and health-care-associated infections, lower 30-day mortality and readmission rates, shorter lengths of stay, lower inpatient expenses and higher patient experience ratings.
“This recognition demonstrates Asante’s ongoing commitment to prioritize patient-centered care, particularly during this very disruptive and challenging time,” said Courtney Wilson, MD, vice president of Medical Affairs at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. “It’s an honor to shine the spotlight on our leaders, physicians, health care providers, employees and volunteers. They’re the ones who make Asante an outstanding place for our community to receive medical care.”
