National accreditation
DNV GL Healthcare, established in the United States in 1898, has a worldwide reputation for quality and integrity in certification, standards development and risk management in a wide range of industries, including extensive international health care experience.
Asante Ashland Community Hospital, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and Asante Three Rivers Medical Center are officially accredited with the National Integrated Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations (NIAHO), DNV’s hospital accreditation program. This accreditation recognizes that our hospitals meet the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid standards as well as ISO 9001 Standards for the formation and implementation of a quality management system.
NIAHO focuses on the evaluation of a hospital’s quality in preventing medical errors through dedication and skill while integrating new technology that can improve the healthcare system.
Asante is committed to maintaining this accreditation status and providing safe, high-quality care. We are constantly working to improve patient care through both our quality management system and patient safety system.
Quality management system
DNV-accredited health care organizations must develop, implement and maintain an ongoing system for managing quality and patient safety.
Patient safety system
DNV-accredited healthcare organizations have established clear expectations for identifying and detecting the prevalence and severity of incidents that impact or threaten patient safety.
